Tarxien has 2 feasts in the 2026 church calendar. The main one is The Annunciation of Mary (titular), on Sunday, 7 June 2026.

On a festa night the church is lit up, the band plays in the street and the statue of the saint is carried out. It is free and anyone can go.

Is-Suq tal-Belt food marketEvery day, in Valletta, about 4 km away. Valletta's old covered market, now a food hall. Lots of small kitchens under one roof.
Marsaxlokk Sunday fish marketEvery Sunday, about 7am to 12:30pm, in Marsaxlokk, about 4 km away. Fresh fish, colourful boats and a long row of stalls by the harbour. Come before 10am.
